Chefchaouen, Morocco

For the second half of our adventure in Morocco we headed north to the beautiful blue mountain town of Chefchaouen.  Perched on the side of the Rif Mountains this quaint town offered us endless photo opportunities and a lovely day of wandering through the narrow streets of the small Medina. With the Spanish and Portuguese influence from years past, the town adopted the gorgeous blue color palet that glows in the bright North African sun, inspiring those who are fortunate enough to pass through this humble town.

We enjoyed sitting for tea with the locals who owned the various spice, rug, and leather shops. They told stories of times gone by, the Moroccan way of life, and of their friends from around the globe who have passed through their town while traveling in Morocco.

We loved our short time in Chefchaouen, and left inspired to live with hearts that reflect on the blessings we've been given, and shine with gratefulness and joy to those we are privileged to meet.
